Hi! I'm Alex Bergen. Nice to meet you!

 Alex Bergen is an emerging actor, singer, and storyteller currently living in Calgary, AB, Canada. 

Alex is also Neurodivergent and champions representation and visibility in my performances. He wants to continue to advocate for the communities I'm part of and work to create equitable access and authentic performances for those who are neurodivergent. He currently lives in Calgary, AB, but he is passionate about working across the country (and globe) and love collaborating with artists of all kinds! He is also a huge fan of travelling and exploring new places, while meeting new people and stretching himself as an artist.

As an actor, on stage he has appeared in dozens of productions, such as Shrek the Musical, Honk! The Musical, The Immaculate Perfection of F*cking and Bleeding in the Gender Neutral Bathroom of an Upper-Middle Class High School, The Railway Children, Our Town, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Bare: A Pop Opera, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and has been lucky enough to work with many companies such as Storybook Theatre, BodyCube Arts, NUOVA Vocal Arts, Stage West for Kids/Birnton Theatricals, The Honest Collective, The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Imagine Performing Arts, and many more. Upcoming for Alex: Fresh off his roles as Pinocchio and Donkey U/S (performed) in Shrek the Musical in Edmonton, Alex will be appearing at Heritage Park in Calgary, AB, from May until October as part of their acting troupe! 

He has also been working in animation as a voice-over acting for over a decade and have worked with clients and appeared on Netflix, Hulu, Nickelodeon, Disney XD, Nintendo, Apple TV, and YTV, just to name a few. Some highlights include leading roles on Beyblade Burst, a video game for the Nintendo 3DS, multiple seasons of Cardfight! Vanguard and Future Card Buddyfight!, Apple TV's Metalions, and Crunchy Roll's Kiznaiver. As a voice actor, he has also voiced various ESL programs overseas to teach elementary students English, as well as on the popular radio play series Bibi & Tina on Spotify.

Alex is also involved with film and television, and loves being in front of the camera just as much as he loves performing on stage. He has worked with The Calgary Stampede, the AGLC, and Game Sense. He was even the face for the Alberta Bottle Depot in 2020!

Alex is incredibly passionate about creative work of all kinds, and loves getting the chance to tell stories for a living.
